Directions
By Car:
From M1 Junction 26: Take the A610 towards Ripley. Follow signs for Heanor, then Loscoe. Upon entering Loscoe, turn onto Flamstead Avenue. The centre is located adjacent to the Red River Nature Reserve.
Parking: Free on-site parking is available directly at the centre.
By Public Transport:
Bus: The nearest bus stop is located on High Street, approximately a 5-minute walk from the centre. For up-to-date bus routes and schedules, please visit Traveline.

Course Schedule
- Registration: Please arrive by 8:45 AM for registration and welcome briefing.
- Course Timing: The course will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day.
- Activities: The program includes both indoor theoretical sessions and outdoor practical exercises. Please ensure you have appropriate clothing for varying weather conditions. We recommend bringing enough clothing that you have options and can change if needed - remember there is no such thing as bad weather - just poor clothing choices!
What to Bring
- Clothing: Comfortable, weather-appropriate attire suitable for physical activity.
- Footwear: Supportive shoes appropriate for walking and outdoor activities.
- Equipment: Nordic walking poles will be provided. However, feel free to bring your own if preferred. Your National Trainer will have a selection to try out - even if you have your own poles!
- Personal Items: Any necessary personal medications or items you may require throughout the day.
