Refund policy

If you cancel your booking:

More than one month before your course
Please contact us as soon as possible. We will normally be able to offer a refund, less any non-refundable costs already incurred.
If your individual INWA online Foundation Course access has already been allocated, £30 will be deducted from any refund. This is the non-refundable cost already incurred in providing this part of your training.

Within one month of your course
Our courses are deliberately kept small and, by this stage, we will normally have committed venue, trainer and other course costs based on the number of people booked. A late cancellation can therefore have a significant financial impact and may affect the viability of the whole course.
For this reason, bookings cancelled within one month of the course date are normally non-refundable.

Where possible, as an alternative to cancellation, we will offer one transfer to another available British Nordic Walking Instructor Course for an £80 transfer fee. Transfers are subject to availability and may be at a different venue.
If we are able to fill your place or otherwise substantially reduce the loss caused by your cancellation, we will take this into account when considering whether any refund is due.

If British Nordic Walking cancels your course
If we need to cancel your face-to-face course, you can choose to transfer to another available British Nordic Walking course at no additional charge or request a refund.
If your INWA online Foundation Course access has already been allocated, £30 will be deducted from the refund because this element of your training has already been provided and the cost paid to INWA. If you transfer instead, your existing online learning will carry forward at no additional charge.
If your INWA online learning has not been allocated, you will receive a full refund.
British Nordic Walking cannot reimburse additional expenses such as travel or accommodation, so we recommend choosing flexible or refundable options wherever possible.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

Returns of Merchandise

Items purchased can be returned at customers own cost within 14 days. Please contact the office on info@britishnordicwalking.org.uk to arrange this.
