‘Get Your Nordic Walking’

 

About me: Nordic Walking has revolutionised my life. I have been affected by arthritis and multiple mobility issues for many years and struggled to find an exercise which both supported and challenged me.

I started Nordic Walking on my own about 3 years ago and really enjoyed it. I decided to set up my own group and become a qualified instructor. In June 2023 I qualified and have been running ‘Get your Nordic Walking’ with my wife Lesley, ever since. Our groups are very social and easy going, you are in control of how much effort you want to put in. Now heading towards 60 years old, with a background in professional sports and being active all my life, I was really worried that I was on a slow decline, Nordic walking has completely changed my outlook and given lots of new opportunities and friends.

 

 

 

What’s on offer? :

As a new group our sessions are developing, we provide Nordic Walking Poles and coaching. We offer taster sessions, holiday camp activities, corporate team days and regular Sunday morning walks. We are fully insured. Our Facebook Page (GY Nordic Walking) gives regular updates, sessions and venues.
