What to bring

  • An INWA manual and course paperwork will be provided on the course.
  • Nordic Walking poles if you have your own.  If you would like to borrow poles, please ensure that you have given details of your height on the booking form at least 4 days beforehand so that the poles can be prepared thoroughly before the course.
  • Appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear (trainers or walking shoes are preferable to walking boots).  We will spend a good few hours a day outdoors, whatever the weather, so make sure you bring full waterproofs/sun cream, etc.
  • In winter, the park can become muddy.  The tutor will try to avoid the muddy areas; however, we recommend bringing a second pair of shoes, just in case

Catherine Hughes is your tutor for the course.

The INWA course assessment will take place on the afternoon of day two; so, you may wish to plan to set aside time do some preparation on the evening of the first day.
