Jo Carter - Walking and Wellbeing
Nordic Walking classes in the Dronfield area – Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings.
Also available for one to one, small group, community group or workplace sessions by arrangement.
I became interested in Nordic Walking because I find the gym boring and I don’t like running! I walked with a group for a couple of years and then decided to train as an instructor. I’m also a British Wheel of Yoga trained yoga teacher and teach yoga and mindfulness sessions. In all of my teaching I try to create a welcoming environment. I have a keen interest in mental and physical well-being and I’m currently studying for the REPS Fitness Walking qualification as well as studying mental health with the Open University. I recently completed the Mental Health First Aider training (MHFA England ) and I’m also qualified as a physical first aider.
