Nigel's Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking is becoming increasingly popular amongst many groups of people being widely recognised as the perfect all year round exercise for physical and mental wellbeing.

As your Strong Minds Walking instructor I teach the all important techniques of Nordic Walking and help everyone feel the amazing benefits of this low impact and enjoyable pastime sport.   I am also a practising Performance Coach and Mindfulness Practitioner so I assist my clients with bringing the cognitive mind and physical body together to help them achieve their goals, gain vitality and get more out of life.

I currently run small groups of walkers and coach clients on a one-to-one basis.  Additionally if small friendship groups ask for private tuition then I am happy to offer this as well.

All routes are usually a high percentage of trails and off road parkland, this ensures even less stress on the body than road walking.


Sport has always been an important part of my life starting early in my career as a cross country runner representing the Royal Air Force and later transferring my passion to triathlons and trail running.  I am thoroughly enjoying being a British Nordic Walking instructor and teaching people the benefits of this amazing sport.  I am based in Winchester which is the perfect training ground for Nordic Walking surrounded by wonderful countryside and trails.
