Nordic walking in lovely surroundings in Lady Bay and surrounding areas. A small group of beginners, to advance with different abilities learning at their own pace. No worries outside enjoying the moment in the countryside.
Rosie qualified as a British Nordic Walking Instructor in January 2019.
I have many years of working in the NHS in rehabilitation, with the elderly in a hospital base and with Amputee’s also teaching them to Nordic Walk. I am a qualified personal trainer, gym instructor, referral to gym and have many years of experience in Martial Arts where I achieved 2nd dan in Shotokan karate.
I have always exercised since I was a teenager but the last 15 years enjoy helping others to get fitter, more active and achieve their goals.
What I like about Nordic Walking is its gentle on the joints, improves posture and gait, its suitable for any age, it can help in recovery from knee and hip surgery, it works all the parts of the body. And you can do it all year round if you want to.
Come and try it, I’ll be doing free taster sessions for new comers to Nordic Walking 20 mins. Group work for 45 mins including learning the technique in a small group, several times per week.
