 2-day INWA Nordic Walking Instructor Course in Guildford.

Thank you for booking onto the 2-day INWA Nordic Walking Instructor Course in Guildford.

Both days begin at 9.00am and finish at approximately 5.00pm, with regular breaks and time for lunch. You're welcome to arrive a little earlier if you'd like to settle in before we begin.

The course will take place in the Clubroom.

Finding the Clubroom

Please enter through the main reception and follow the front ramp into the building.
From reception:
  • Go down the main stairs to the lower level.
  • Walk past the entrance to the ice rink.
  • Turn right.
  • The Clubroom is the first door on the left, opposite the female changing rooms.
The leisure centre is well signposted, and reception staff will be happy to direct you if needed.

Parking

There is free parking at the venue.
Please park in one of the clearly marked 16-hour parking bays.

Refreshments

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the course.
The Spectrum also has a café serving drinks, snacks and lunches.
The leisure centre asks that food and drink purchased elsewhere is not consumed in public areas. 

What to Bring

Please bring:
  • Comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for the weather.
  • Trainers or walking shoes (walking boots are not essential).
  • A pair of clean indoor shoes, as we'll be using the classroom as well as outdoor areas.
  • Waterproofs and warm layers (or sun protection, depending on the forecast).
  • A water bottle and a snack for outdoor sessions.
  • A notebook and pen if you'd like to make your own notes.

During the Course

We'll spend a significant amount of time outdoors on both days, whatever the weather, so please come prepared for being outside for extended periods.

The course is practical, interactive and full of new ideas. Many instructors tell us the two days are busy but incredibly rewarding, leaving them feeling confident and inspired to start teaching.
