Venue Information for British Nordic Walking Instructor Training

We’re delighted to host our Nordic Walking Instructor Training at Forthbank Stadium, a modern sports venue located on the edge of Stirling with excellent indoor facilities and immediate access to outdoor walking routes.

The venue provides a comfortable learning environment alongside nearby paths and open spaces ideal for practising Nordic Walking technique during the course.

Getting There

By Car

Forthbank Stadium is easily accessed from the motorway network.

Leave the M80 at Junction 9

Follow signs for the A91 towards Alloa

At the fourth roundabout turn left — the stadium is a short distance along on the right.

Free parking is available at the stadium (shared with nearby facilities). If busy, additional free parking is available at Springkerse Retail Park, approximately a 5–10 minute walk away

By Train

Stirling Railway Station is well connected to cities across Scotland including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth.

Approx. 1.5 miles from the venue

Around 20 minutes’ walk, short taxi ride, or local bus journey.

 

Outdoor Training Environment

Practical sessions take place on nearby open spaces around the Forthside area, allowing participants to practise Nordic Walking teaching skills in real outdoor environments while remaining close to the venue.

The surrounding area provides:

Open outdoor spaces for group teaching practice

Participants are welcome to bring lunch and refreshments. Tea and coffee will be provided.
