We’re very pleased to have you join us for your INWA Nordic Walking Instructor course. Below you’ll find all the details you need to arrive smoothly and make the most of your training.

By Car
  • A short drive from junction 17 of M4
  • Please park on the road
By Public Transport
  • Train: The closest train station is Chippenham, located 4 miles  away. From there you can take a taxi or bus.

Arrival & Course Schedule
  • Registration / Welcome: Please arrive by 8:45 AM to complete registration and brief introductions.
  • Course hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day (approximate).
  • The course will include both indoor theory and outdoor practical sessions, so be ready to move between settings.

What to Bring
  • Clothing: Layers and spares — the weather may change, and you’ll be both indoors and outdoors.
  • Footwear: Supportive shoes for walking outdoors; optionally indoor shoes for inside use.
  • Lunch: You are advised to bring a packed lunch.
  • Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and basic refreshments will be available throughout the day.
  • Notebook / printed materials: Bring the Study Guide or any module notes you’ve printed.
  • Personal items: Any personal medicines, water bottle, small day pack, etc.

  • We have a full schedule, so arriving on time helps everything run smoothly.
  • The format includes practical sessions outdoors — dress comfortably and be ready to be active.
