There is free parking on the road outside the school. Do not park on the triangle,
directly outside the church.

Train: The closest train station is Chippenham, located 5 miles away / 15 minutes drive away.
From there you can take a taxi. -
Bus : The nearest bus stop is Stanton St Quintin (///gobbles.leotard.messy), approximately 1
minute walk away. Check local bus timetables for your arrival time.

Note – you can easily access Stanton St Quintin from either the east or west bound service
stations, either via the M4/J17 or back roads

Registration / Welcome: Please arrive by 8:45 AM to complete registration and brief introductions.

Course hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day (approximate).

The course will include both indoor theory and outdoor practical sessions, so be ready to move between settings.

Clothing: Layers and spares — the weather may change, and you’ll be both indoors and outdoors.

Footwear: Supportive shoes for walking outdoors; optionally indoor shoes for inside use.

Lunch: You are advised to bring a packed lunch, otherwise, there is a shop in the nearby BP
garage (approx 5 minutes drive away) -
Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and basic refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Notebook / printed materials: Bring the Study Guide or any module notes you’ve printed.

Personal items: Any personal medicines, water bottle, small day pack, etc.

The Nordic Walk Leader course equips you to assist a certified Nordic Walking Instructor. You will learn to plan and lead safe walks for people who have already been taught to Nordic Walk. Perfect for keen Nordic Walkers who have good technique and who want assist in their Nordic Walking group.
The course includes:
- 4 hour live group tuition via Zoom
- online self paced stufy, including videos and lectures
- full colour manual
This course is non-assessed, you must attend and engage in all the required sessions in order to be certified.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A NORDIC WALKING TEACHING QUALIFICATION AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WISHING TO GIVE INSTRUCTION IN NORDIC WALKING TECHNIQUE.
