Jo Mushat - Nordic Walking Dunbar
I am a qualified BNW INWA Nordic Walking Instructor and started Nordic Walking in January after undergoing back surgery. I had read about the health benefits of Nordic Walking extensively and felt that this style of exercise would help me strengthen my core and improve my posture which would help me on my road to recovery. I completed a British Nordic Walking course to learn the technique and was hooked! I then went on to train as a British Nordic Walking Instructor so I could share my new found passion with my local community.
I have always been an outdoor person and make the most of my surroundings, living in beautiful East Lothian, Scotland. I can be found Nordic Walking along the vast beaches and forest trails, mountain biking, paddle boarding or kayaking in the sea or lochs of Scotland. Professionally, I am a teacher at a school in Edinburgh, where I run the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, encouraging the next generation of young people to challenge themselves and experience the outdoors.
Walks mainly in East Lothian – Dunbar, North Berwick, Dirleton & Gullane, but other locations can be arranged.
